A Source/Measure Units (SMU)
A Source/Measure Units (SMU) combines the capabilities of a current source, a voltage source, a current meter and a voltage meter along with the capability to switch easily between these various functions into a single instrument. Cobmined with the cryostat, the variable temperature function is added. Also, laser applicaton is available upen the I-V measurement along with the temperature variation.
